Hello artzy friends! Helen is here today. I would love to wish you all a happy new year. May this year will bring some new adventures to all of us.
Today, I would love share a birthday card idea for winter birthdays.
On my winter birthday card today, I used one of the Snow Much Fun Paper Collection for the background. I trimmed it and added it in the middle of the card front with permanent adhesive runner.
I stamped the polar bear and penguin image from the Just Chillin’ Stamp Set on a piece of Neenah White cardstock with VersaFine Clair Nocturne ink pad. I dried the ink and then colored it with Shinhan TwinTouch markers.
I stamped the balloon string image with VersaFine Clair Nocturne, stamped the balloon with VersaFine Clair Warm Breeze, and then stamped the gift image on the sled with VersaFine Clair Paradise.
I added some extra sparkle on the image using the Spectrum Noir Sparkle Clear Brush. Then I dried it with craft heater to make sure the glitter layer dried well.
I cut out the cardstock with the Square Framelit Dies. Then I stamped the sentiment from the Just Chillin’ Stamp Set with VersaFine Clair Nocturne. I added this finished square panel on the card with permanent adhesive runner.
I also stamped the birthday sentiment from the Well Wishes Stamp Set on a white cardstock and then I cut out around the letters with micro-tip scissors. I added it on the bottom card with 3D foam tape.
I cut some snowflakes out of the white cardstock using the Slimline Snowflakes Dies. I added them on the card with dries-clear adhesive glue.
I hope this card sparks an idea for you to create birthday card for those who have birthdays in the Winter.
