Hi, Dare 2B Artzy friends!
Tasha here from CraftyPinkPixie.com sharing a Mother’s Day flower pot card created with the lovely Flowers for Mom stamp set!
I used pink pattern paper to create the flower pot base, and a simple scalloped edge die gave the fold more detail. To complete the design, I attached a glitter paper ribbon with a rhinestone center. It’s so pretty when the light shines on it!
For the bouquet, I stamped four of the same flower images and colored each with markers.Three of the main flowers were layered whole, and one was cut in half and attached to each side to give a fuller look.
I also added three small flowers along the bottom that were raised with thick foam. These little flowers are actually the centers of the round flower stamp, but the coordinating die set allows you to cut out just the center layer.
The “Happy Mother’s Day” sentiment was stamped in black on yellow pattern paper and silver glitter paper was used to make the fun scalloped border. I love all the shimmer!
Unlike cards with traditional folds, this design hides your message inside the flower pot. It’s so fun to pull up the flowers to reveal your handwritten Mother’s Day greeting!
I hope you enjoyed this project and are inspired to create with the Flowers for Mom stamp set!
