Making Life a Little Zesty!

Happy Friday, Dare 2B Artzy Friends!
There are so many things you can do when life gives you lemons, and today’s card is just one example!

I stamped the lemon branch and lemon slice from the Lemon Zest Stamp Set with D2BA’s Totally Black Ink as it is a Copic friendly ink.  The images were colored with the following Copic combinations: (Y04, Y06, Y18, V22), (YG03, YG17, YG99), and (RV01, YG01, Y00).  When the coloring was complete, the images were die cut using the Lemon Zest Die.

After using the stitched border die from the Leaf Background Die Set to cut out the beautiful Pink Lemonade Paper, I cut that rectangle into strips what were 1 3/16″ wide.  I began by cutting that width of strip from each side of the rectangle to conserve the stitched border.  I then cut one final strip from the section that was left.  The three sections were added to the card base, and circles were die cut using the Circle Framelits.
There are several great sentiments in this set so it was hard to chose which one to use!  I have several friends who would appreciate this one!
