Joyful Snowman

Hello, Artzy friends!

It’s Ceal, here. Today I am sharing a couple cards, one using the Frosty Hello and the other using one of our newest Layering Stencils, Gift Boxes.

To make this snowman card I started with a white top folding note card and a white panel. I ink blended some Prize Ribbon, Villionus Potion, Picked Raspberry and Saltwater Taffy for the background and spritzed with water. I used a small snowflake stamp from the same set and stamped in white ink. I added the snow drifts on the bottom by using the Slimline Snowflake die.

Next I stamped the snowman from the Frosty Hello set, colored it and popped it up on the front. I added the joy by stamping it in red, cutting it out with the coordinating die. To finish the card I added more “snow” by using a white gel pen.

For the birthday card I

To make my card, I started with a top folding white note card and a white panel cut down a quarter of an inch smaller. I used the Gift Box layering stencil and some distress inks to create a rainbow of boxes. For the second layer I used some Gold Hero Wax to add dimension and texture. To finish the card, I added the greeting cut three times from white card stock and then once in gold to give it dimension.
