Hello Artzy friends!
It’s Tonya from the Dare 2B Artzy Design Team. Today I am making another card featuring the Joyful Robin’s stamp and die set from Dare 2B Artzy. I think this is one of my favorite stamps as I love the combination of the birds and floral images paired with the amazing sentiments from this set.
I wanted to pair today’s stamp with the Merry and Bright paper collection to show how versatile this paper really can be. Of course, it is a Christmas themed paper, but maybe there are a couple of things you didn’t know. First, all of Dare 2B Artzy’s paper is 12 x 12 so it’s perfect for not only your card and paper crafting projects, but it’s also designed for use in designing scrapbook pages. Second, all the Dare 2B Artzy papers are double sided and feature a fun ¼ inch trim piece that has some varying designs on it. For the Merry and Bright paper collection, the back side of the paper is designed to work with your non-Christmas, everyday card projects.
In today’s card, I am using the A Rockin Christmas paper and the O’ Christmas Tree paper from the Merry and Bright collection. The back side of these papers features a beautiful, bright floral and some lovely green striped patterns.
I die cut my paper using the large, scalloped background in the Slim Mini Heart Background die set and then used the wavy border and dotted detail background from the Slim Mini Wavy Layers die set. I just love that these two sets coordinate so perfectly together. It really makes building your card layers a breeze.
On the white layer of cardstock, I stamped, and heat embossed the sentiment that reads, Hope is like a bird that sings of endless joy that Jesus brings. I felt that this was the perfect sentiment as I think we’re all feeling a little bit stressed with the current tensions of the world today and we could all use a little bit of hope that things will get better soon.
Aside from the sentiment I’ve used there are 7 other words/phrases for sentiments in the Joyful Robin stamp set. This is the perfect set for any kind of uplifting or encouragement card. There is also a sympathy sentiment included in this set.
I stamped and colored the large Robin with the florals from the Joyful Robins stamp set and colored them with my Sketchmarker Brush pro markers. These are newer markers to me and I’m just getting started building my collection, but I really like that they are so similar to Copics without the high price.
Once my little bird and the florals were colored, I die cut them with the coordinating die set. The die cuts both the bird and the florals which makes for a great image to add to your card.
My stamped and die cut robin was added to the mini slimline card panel with some dimensional foam along with my die cut cardstock.
For a finishing touch, I added a few iridescent pearls in an orange color to the card front.
That finishes up my card for today. I hope you’ve enjoyed today’s card. I have linked all the products used in today’s card below for your convenience.

Have a wonderful day!

Tonya
