Hello, Stampers! It’s Melody here with you today, and it is beginning to look a lot like Christmas! We’ve even had a few snow flurries this week in Ohio!
Luckily, the images from Dare 2B Artzy continue to warm my heart as the reality of cold temperatures sets in!
The houses and sentiments were stamped with D2BA’s Totally Black Ink. This village and the sentiments are all from the Holiday Village Stamp Set. This whimsical set is so much fun to color!
I used the following Copic marker combinations to color this great image: (R14, R24, R29, R37), (YR04, YR18, YR09), (YG11, G14, G17), (BG000, B00, BG01), and (E35, E37, BV04).
Accents were added with Sakura Glaze Pens. I wish you could see the dimension and shine these pens add to this image in real life! After coloring, I decided to add a few snowflakes from the newly released Cuckoo Clock Set. The snowflakes were stamped with D2BA’s Blue Sky Ink.
I then cut the card stock with the stamped image and sentiments with the stitched rectangle die found in the Leaf Background Die Set. The panel was adhered to a red rectangle and then adhered to a white card base. This one layer card will make mailing a breeze!
I hope you are staying warm and cozy wherever you are this weekend!
Don’t forget to enter this month’s challenge on the D2BA blog for a chance to win a great prize!
Happy stamping!
Melody
