Hi Artzy friends!
I am back today with another card featuring some gorgeous new products from Dare 2B Artzy.
Today, I have colored the sunflower from the Hello Sunshine stamp set. I love this sunflower and all the details that this image has. I knew it would be a great one to color with my Copic Markers. I was kind of in the mood for fall so this card has a bit of some fall tones to it. I think the heat here in Colorado has finally melted my brain and I’m really ready for some cool crisp air to settle in.
I stamped and colored the flower using several shades of yellow and yellow-red markers. I love that this flower has such a detailed center. It was so easy to make the center of the flower pop with some color variations from dark brown to a reddish-brown.
After I finished coloring my sunflower, I cut it out using my Brother Scan-N-Cut. There is a coordinating die for this set, but I do not currently have it. The Scan-n-Cut worked well to cut out my image.
Next, I cut some of the yellow cable knit looking paper from the Midnight Garden paper pack using a double stitched circle die.
I also cut the Breezy Blossoms paper with the leaves using a rectangle framelets die.
I added a bit of ink blending around the edges of both pieces of paper.
Finally, I cut my largest rectangle framelet from a piece of rust color paper I had in my paper stash. I also added a bit of ink blending to the edges of the paper.
Each of my papers were layered up with dimensional foam. I added my sunflower slightly offset on top of the circle.
For my sentiment, I hot foiled the Grateful sentiment from the new Grateful Hot Foil plate set.
This set features the words; grateful, thankful, blessed plus has a heart and an & symbol. There is a coordinating word and shadow layer die that works with the hot foiled sentiment set.
I added my sentiment with a bit of dimensional foam near the bottom of the card.
As a finishing touch, I added some matte gold accents to my card front for a bit of bling.
That finishes my card for today. I have linked all the products used below for today’s card. Thank you for stopping by.
Hugs,
Tonya
