Michelle Houghton here from scrapweaver.com to share a fun stamping project with you!
If you have not heard we have a new challenge going on for the month of October. Fall colors is the name of the game, check out all the Design Team inspiration, grab some crafting gear and play!
I decided to make some bookmarks for Christmas gifts that I can give friends. Bookmarks are easy and fun to mass produce.
I decided to make them out of watercolor paper and use my Copics. I know that you might have heard that Copics should not be used on watercolor, but guess what? They are GORGEOUS on watercolor paper. The issue is this paper absorbs moisture, that is the way that it holds watercolor. So it eats up ink. Now that can be an issue, but I have refills and love coloring so away I go!
Here is a close up of the Copic so you can see how pretty the color looks on the watercolor paper:
And here is the full bookmark:
I have full details on the project over at my blog if you would like to see more!
Here are the D2BA products I used for the bookmarks:
Make sure to check out all the other Dare 2B Artzy goodness and start getting your crafty gifts together for the holidays!
Have a Happy Colorful Week!
