Hello Dare 2B Artzy Friends!!

We are so excited for today’s post!

Here at Dare 2B Artzy, we always want to encourage you to stretch your creativity so we have teamed up with Gelli Arts!  Get ready to see some awesome ARTZY projects from both design teams!!

April 30th – May 3rd

Our theme: Spring/Floral

There is so much you can do when you combine these Gelli Arts gel printing plates with our Dare 2B Artzy stamps and stencils.  For my project, I pulled out some paint and copic markers along with our new Come Alive Stencil and Totally Tracy Swirl stamp set.

I started out with drawing some shapes onto the gel plate with copic markers. Then I put paint on our stamps and added the swirl patterns to the gel plate.

I used the brayer and texture stamps to add more interest.  It is best to allow the layers to dry a little each time you add more paint.  I applied white paint with the brayer for my last layer and quickly laid the paper on the gel plate while it was wet.  I rubbed down the back of the paper with a bone folder for extra pressure, then pulled the paper up for the big reveal.

Wow…it was so fun.  I can’t wait to play some more!
