Welcome Dare 2B Artzy fans!!
Please help us give a warm welcome to our March Guest Designer…
Hello everyone, I’m Teri. I live in the warm, sunny and beautiful state of Arizona. I’m the wife of an amazing man for 27 years now, and the mother of a grown son, whom I will always consider to be my baby!
I have been in the creative industry for as long as I can remember. It’s all that I know, and I’m not happy unless I’m creating. I’ve been retired from Art Directing for a few years now, but being crafty is something that I will never retire from! I have a passion for papercrafting and card making. I specialize in three-dimensional cards and also pattern mixing. I love to combine patterns that most people wouldn’t combine, and make them look amazing!
I currently design for Photoplay Paper and My Creative Scrapbook, and I also have a small card design business called Papier Fetiche. When it comes to being creative, it seems that I can never be busy enough!

Hello crafty friends, it’s Teri here, from Papier Fetiche. Today I’m sharing a fun, pop-up box card design that I made with D2BA’s, All the Buzz Paper Collection by Andie Hanna. I absolutely love this collection and those darling little buzzy bee’s were perfect for my pop-up box design!
The first thing I did was die cut all the basic parts of the box with white cardstock. The pop-up box die is one that I’ve had in my stash for about a million years now and I just love it! Next I assembled all the basic pieces together to make the box and the strips that I adhered all the pop-up elements to. Once that’s done, the fun part begins…decorating the outside of the box and the fold-over flaps. I used a combination of Buzzy Beez and Sweet as Honey papers for this. For the sentiment, I did a little fussy cutting from a sheet of the Bee Happy paper.
After the box was decorated, I was ready to adhere all of the pop-up elements. And that involved a lot of fussy cutting! I cut out a lot of flower blooms from All a Bloom paper, and I used white heavy cardstock strips to give them all their different heights.
Next, I added the foliage leaves from basic dies that I pulled from my die collection. I used Bee Happy and Buzzy Beez papers for these. The foliage was important because it gave it a fuller look and filled in open spots.
Then I cut out a honey jar from a sheet of Sweet as Honey and added it. And last but not least, it was time for those bees. And yes, more fussy cutting. I added those three adorable little bees and it pulled it all together!
This paper collection by D2BA is what made this card so adorable, it’s just such a happy card!
Have a fantastic weekend Artzy fans, and remember, never stop creating!
