Hi crafters! Monica here with a new twist on how to get the most use out of your stamps by using them in a fun creative way. I took the Butterfly Tangle stamp and used the flower stamp to make a butterfly with it versus using the actual butterfly stamp in the set.
Step 1. Stamp your image onto some watercolor paper. Then use your Kuretake watercolors and color in the stamped image as desired. I used some red’s and blue’s since Fourth of July is fast approaching.
Step 2. Take your Butterfly die and die cut each of the petals. I then cut the top of the flower out as shown in the 2nd photo above. I then added a button center piece for the body of the butterfly shown in the photo below.
Finally I pieced it all together and added actually what was a hairpin to the bottom for the butterflies tail.
