You’re my anchor card + video tutorial

Hi Dare 2B Artzy fans,

It’s Teresa here from Whimsical Card Studio to share a nautical themed card using the Anchors Away Die set and Stamp Set.  I wanted the focal point of the card to be the die cut anchor.  Of course a great focal point needs an equally good backdrop, so I pulled out some Distress Oxide inks and created a “blended” background, but not typical of the usual blending techniques like ombre.  The video is the best way to see how the background was created and how I created the frame as well.  The small anchor and wheel die make the perfect embellishments for each corner.
