Happy Sunday crafty friends!
Melinda here with you again. I am so excited to be here sharing with you as a Guest Designer. With holiday crafting in full swing, I am sharing a fun and festive card you can create multiples of quickly and easily.
My card starts as a standard A2, top folding card. The base is made of white cardstock.
I started by creating this fun background. I used the fun Cuckoo Clock Stamp set. This adorable small tree is one of the stamps in the set. I stamped it with black ink on some green cardstock. I then colored them in with my green Copic markers. I then used my white gel pen to color in the “snow”. I topped that off with some sparse and randomly placed Stickles to give them some sparkle. I finished off by placing some random “dots” of snow. I created the cute lattice background and cut it out. I layered that on to some regular red cardstock.
Next I turned to the cute little snowflake in the same stamp set and stamped some cute little snowflakes in three different colors.
I then stamped the fun sentiment from the Holiday Village Stamp Set with some green ink. I layered that onto a couple of mats and then added them to the cute little scallop circle. I finished it off by adding some Nuvo drops and a seam binding bow.
Here is one last look at my completed card. I think it turned out very fun and would be easy to reproduce if you need a few in your stash.
