Happiest of Wednesday’s Artzy friends!! Tonya from Krafty Enchantments.com, back with another Dare 2B Artzy project today. Is everyone enjoying fall and the beautiful colors and cooler temperatures? I know I am. However, we had our first measurable snow of the season last Sunday with about 3-5 inches here in Colorado. I do not think anyone is ready for winter.
In keeping with our fall theme for the month of October, I have another fall-inspired card for you today.
This card features the adorable Foxy Greetings stamp set paired with my favorite Fall Harvest paper from Dare 2B Artzy.
To start my card, I used a stencil from my craft stash and some ink colors in dark red, brown, orange, dark yellow and green. I used a piece of heavy cardstock and taped it and the stencil to my glass work surface so that it would not move.
Using some stencil brushes, I started brushing on my ink colors, blending from the lower left corner of the stencil to the upper left. I started with the dark red and then brown and gradually mixing in the orange and yellow. From the upper right corner I began brushing on the green and mixing it towards the yellow. I continued brushing on colors until I was satisfied with the gradation of colors. I removed my stencil and trimmed down the background to be 4 x 5 ¼.
Using some Versamark ink, I ran it across the edges of my background and added some champagne and copper embossing powders around the edge of the background. I like the framing effect with the embossing powder.
I used some of my favorite paper from the Dare 2B Artzy fall release – the leaves from the Fall Harvest paper pack. Did you know that the leaves on this paper coordinate with the Fall Leaves dies? I am telling you that the coordination of paper and dies that cut the shapes is the best thing since sliced bread!!
I cut a few of the leaves using the coordinating dies. I used a Ranger Perfect Medium brush pen to draw around the outer edges of the die cut leaves and used the same combination of champagne and copper embossing powers around the edges of the leaves. I love the added pop the embossing powders gives to the leaves; it really gives them a nice fall touch.
Finally, I stamped the Fox and Squirrel using some Dare 2B Artzy totally black ink and my MISTI to get a perfect stamped impression. I colored each of the images using my Copic markers and die cut them with the coordinating Foxy Greetings dies.
I also stamped and heat embossed the small leaves from the Foxy Greetings stamp set. I added them to the upper right corner of my card front using some dimensional foam.
I cut a piece of gold foil paper to 4 ¼ x 5 ½ and added my stenciled background on top with some dimensional foam.
Next, I layered on my die cut leaves adhering with some tape runner.
Finally, I added the adorable fox and squirrel to the bottom left corner with some dimensional foam.
For my sentiment, I used the Thankful for You sentiment and stamped it with some Versamark and using some white embossing powder and heat set it. I trimmed the sentiment down, created a fish tail, and popped it onto my card front with some dimensional foam.
My entire panel was added to a dark brown card base.
I added some different brown and tan sequins to my card front for some added pop of sparkle.
Hope you enjoyed today’s fall inspired card. The products I used will be listed below. Be sure to submit your projects for the October Challenge here: http://www.dare2bartzy.com/wp/october-challenge-fall/. Remember the winner will receive a free stamp set and ink pad of their choice.

Hugs,
Tonya
