I manage arts departments at a local university. It’s a big stressful job made somewhat easier by a network of long-term friends. We all help each other out when we can. One of these fine people really helped me out of a jam the other day, so I made her THIS card to say thanks!
It’s a stress reliever for me to make, and it’s a great way for me to let her know how much I appreciate her. I used Dare 2B Artzy Modern Bliss Collection paper paired with the Tangle Jumpstart Stamps. These stamps are so much fun. You can use them how they come or do what I did and add some extra detail (i.e. I added the lines and dots to the flower). I also used the Dare 2B Artzy Thanks Die for the sentiment. I cut it out three times and glued the die cuts together to get some bulk in the sentiment.
The Copics I used were: Y21, Y23, BG72, BG75, YG03, YG06
After I colored the YGs onto the flower, I used a scrap of washcloth with some colorless blender solution to create some texture on the petal. Here’s a close-up:
Love that!
