Hello Dare 2B Artzy fans,

It’s Teresa here and I am so excited to share these four teacher appreciation cards from this new Best Teacher stamp set and coordinating dies.  I think you might be intrigued by the stamping method I used to color in my images.  It’s something a little out of the box and a layering stamping style even though these are not layering stamps.  Intrigued?  I hope so – I have a video showing how it was done.

Here you acan see each card individually.  I used the Pink Lemonade paper as a layer in each of the cards, mixing up square and standard A2 sized cards in this collection.  The matting and layering is pretty standard so the video concentrates solely on the stamping technique.  I also used the Wavy Dies for some of the layers – it’s one of my all time favorites from D2BA.  Please do check out the video!

In the card above I added a layer of corrugated paper to add more texture and interest.  The sentiment started out on a piece of white cardstock.  I used a makeup style brush to add some base color using the Margarita Lime ink and stamped the sentiment in Paradise ink.

Layering all the star stamps together give them more punch.

You must see the video to see how I got this image stamped both as a solid color (red) and the words.  There is a coordinating apple die available which I didn’t use just to show you the versatility of the whole set.

One of the cutest stamps from this set is the little cookie with a bite out of it — just adorable.
