Sweet Friendship with Candy Shop

Hello and welcome Artzy fans! It’s Angie here today with a fun card featuring the new Candy Shop stamp set. Did you know that this set has a die set that works with three D2BA stamp sets? It’s called “Little Village” die set and what a great way to save money, when one die set works with three stamp sets! It also works with “Bistro” and “Home Sweet Home” sets too.

For my card I first stenciled with pink Distress Oxide ink on the card front with the “Sunburst Stencil.” I used the most in in the center and tried to fade out the color as I ink blended to the edges of the card. I stamped the image and colored it with markers, then die cut it out and added it with foam tape to the center of the sunburst. The sentiment is from the same set and it’s heat embossed in white on black card stock. Lastly I added a couple of pink hearts from my stash.
