Snowflake Blooms

Hello Dare 2B Artzy friends. Michelle Houghton from Copic In The Craft Room here to bring you a little Monday inspiration and a fun twist on a stamp made for a different season entirely.

It is FINALLY feeling a little more like spring and moving into summer her in the midwest. It was feeling like winter was just not going to shake loose! So I pulled out a winter stamp set and decided to brighten it up and re-purpose it for the final change of weather.

• I used the Snowflake Wishes Stamp Set and stamped them with Versa Mark ink and heat embossed them with white embossing powder.
• I used Copics and the Air Brush System to create flower petals and leaves over the snowflakes.
• I used a cloth lightly dampened with Copic Colorless Blender and lightly brushed the Copic ink off the embossed snowflakes that now look like the centers of the spring flowers.
• Next I added a a sentiment from the Refresh The Soul Stamp Set
• To finish the card front I relied on a skill I have not pulled out of my tool kit in a while, Doodling!
