Skating by to Say…Happy Holidays!

Happy Saturday, friends!
Have you started on your Christmas cards yet?
I’m going to be making several of my holiday cards with the adorable Birds on Ice Stamp Set from Dare 2B Artzy! The fun part about this set, besides the cute images, is that sentiments are included for other occasions besides holidays!

After stamping the images with D2BA’s Totally Black Ink, I colored the images with the following Copic Marker Combinations: (BG11, BG23, BG57), (R14, R37, R89), (R05, R08), (Y11, Y13, Y17, YR16), (B95, B97, B99), (C00, C1, C3), (B0000, B000), and E07.
All of the images were die cut with the Birds on Ice Die. The die set also cuts out three script images that can be lined up with the bird’s skates to look like the words are etched in the ice!

The two patterned paper included on the card were Here Comes Santa and Christmas Joy.
Those papers were die cut using the Wavy Slimline Framelit Dies. I cut another piece from white card stock and die cut it with the Wavy Slimline Border Dies to create my ice.
This card could also work for the September Challenge on the Dare 2B Artzy Blog! It’s all about animals!
