Hi Artzy friends –
Even though Valentine’s Day has passed, it’s always a good time to send a card to a loved one to let them know you’re thinking of them!
One of the new die cover plates that Dare 2B Artzy has recently released is this Quilted Flower Background die that can be used any time of the year and for any card to add some pretty details to your background. I love the combination of cutout flowers and pierced design in this die! And you can save the little pieces that cut out as confetti or shaker bits for a future project!
For my card I cut my Quilted Flower background out of white cardstock, put a pink layer behind it, and matted the whole panel on dark gray. I colored and die cut this cute skunk with his flower pot from the Stinking’ Happy stamps and dies and popped him up on my card panel. I also stamped my sentiment from the same set on a white strip and adhered that to my card.
