Retro Card of Encouragement

Hi friends, it’s Danielle and I’m back with another project to share with you. I use the Retro Slimline Background Die set from Dare 2B Artzy’s new release. There are so many design options to consider when using this die. My card has a retro style to express a Retro Card of Encouragement. I use Artzy paper to enhance the design and I hope you like it.

How much do I love this card?! It’s so fun and I’m a real fan of slimline cards. I begin with die cutting mirror kraft paper for the top layer. Next, I die cut white card stock (x3) and layer to add dimension to the top layer. Then I trim down Artzy pattern paper as the layer between the card base and the top layer. Using the tiny dies from this set, I embellish the card with hearts and stars. The card’s sentiment is from the Fruit Loop Stamp Set. I adhere all of the layers onto to the card base. To finish off the card, I add Wink of Stella for a little shimmer. I hope this card offers you a little inspiration and a Retro Card of Encouragement!
