Hello, Hello Dare 2B Atrzy friends!!

Janette here coming to you from a throughly rain saturated California!! So thankful for all this rain, we desperately need it. I have to admit, I could use a full day of sunshine. Though crafting makes a pretty darn good substitute!

I am always in need of birthday cards. Purrrfect Birthday, is spot on for a kitty lover in my life. I began ink blending (with a fluffy paintbrush) the background with D2BA ink in Sunset Yellow, Blue Sky, Paradise, and Chocolate Chip. I then stamped the kitty from Purrrfect Day and, several mice and yarn from Purrrfect Day and Meow stamp sets and colored them with Copic markers.  I then fussy cut my images. There is a die set available that works for BOTH stamps sets, isn’t that awesome?!?

Next, I trimmed up the kitty legs and around the tail so that I could tuck critters and yarn in to look as though kitty was sitting right in them. I placed masking tape over the completed scene so that I could add glue without disturbing the careful placement. I added liquid glue and replaced onto the backound. I carefully removed the masking while glue was still wet so that I could clean up any oozes.

Finally, I used a word bubble from my stash to expose the sentiment I had stamped on the card base. The layers were completed by adhering a black frame to the card base, and then the foam backed kitty panel.
