Nontraditional Christmas Colors with Dare 2B Artzy

Hello, Stampers!  It’s Melody!
Are you finished with your Christmas cards for this year?  I have about fifteen made with many more to go!
Today’s card and tag are made with very nontraditional Christmas colors.

I began by stamping the holly with berries from the Poinsettia Tangle Stamp Set repeatedly on the tangerine card stock with a WOW! Embossing Pad.  Next, I embossed the images with rose gold embossing powder.  The card stock was then die cut with the stitched rectangle die which is part of the Cupcake Background Die Set.

The poinsettia was stamped with the WOW! Embossing Pad and embossed with the rose gold powder onto Strathmore Bristol Smooth Surface Paper.  I used Ken Oliver Color Bursts in Tangerine, Naples Yellow, and Sap Green to watercolor this gorgeous image.

After the poinsettia dried, I die cut it with the Poinsettia Die and added Nuvo Orange Marmalade Jewel Drops.
The sentiment is also from the Poinsettia Tangle Stamp Set.  The brown card stock circle was die cut using the Circle Framelits Dies.

I repeated the nontraditional tangerine and brown with the cute gift tag.  The stamp is from the Jinglebell Wishes Stamp Set.  The card stock layers were die cut using the Circle Framelits Dies and the Oval Framelits Dies.
