Happy Friday! Thanks to inspiration from Erin Reed Makes and Cindy Sartain from D2BA, I have made my first Lift the Flap Interactive Slimline Card! It was so much fun, and I can’t thank these two ladies enough!
I began by creating the three flaps on the card front. You can see how this is done in this video by Erin Reed Makes and in this Facebook Live by Cindy Sartain of Dare 2B Artzy!
All of the images from the fun Turtley Awesome Stamp Set were stamped using D2BA’s Totally Black Ink.
The images were colored with the following Copic Marker Combinations: (R14, R05, R37), (RV04, RV06, RV09), (B02, B05), (YR04, YR09), (YG07, YG17), (E31, E51, E34), (YG01, YG03) , and (E23, E25, E27). Accents were added with Sakura Glaze Pens 819 and 800.
The images were die cut using the Turtley Awesome Die Set.
The patterned paper layers on the card front are D2BA’s Banner Day Paper, and the birthday sentiment was stamped from the Well Wishes Stamp Set.
Here you can see what is under my first flap!
The next photo shows the second flap opened up. I think this is so much fun!
I’ll bet you’ll never guess what is coming up next! You’re right! It’s a peek under the third flap!
The final photo shows all three flaps opened! The sentiments on the inside of the cards are all from the Turtley Awesome Stamp Set. The patterned papers used on the inside included the Sprinkle on Top and Sweetmobile Papers!
I think I will definitely be making more of these in the future! Thanks again to Erin Reed and Cindy Sartain!
Don’t forget about the March Challenge on the D2BA Blog! You can link your creations HERE for a chance to win a $15 gift card to the Dare 2B Artzy Store!
Happy stamping, and I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
