A friend of mine is having a bit of a tough time right now, and I wanted to make her a card to cheer up. I figured out a fun way to do that with the Totally Tracy Let It Go stamps and some vellum paper with the Wacky Boxes Stencil.
I used Distress Oxide Inks through the stencil onto some “cloudy” vellum paper I had. I then turned it upside down to get the more muted colors and adhered it to a double sided adhesive sheet. The flower were then colored with R32, R35, R37, R39, BG02, BG05, BG07, BG18, Y23, and Y26. I added some Nuvo drops to finish off the card. While the vellum colors are muted, the flowers would be perfect to enter into this month’s challenge – Bright Colors! Have you joined yet?
Here’s a close up of those pretty flowers:
The image was stamped with Dare 2B Artzy Black Ink. It’s perfect for watercoloring and for Copic Markers.
