Hot Air Balloon Slimline by Dare 2B Artzy!

Today’s slimline card features the new D2BA Hot Air Balloon Slimline Die! I am dedicating this card to all the people in my life who continually lift me up! I cannot thank them enough!

I began by cutting my starry background from a piece of Cosmic Creatures Paper using a rectangle die from the Wavy Slimline Framelit Dies. Next, I die cut a piece of Tonic Marina Mist Mirror Card using the newly released Hot Air Balloon Slimline Die! These layers were adhered to the card front.
I thought it would be fun to do a little paper piecing on the balloons so I cut small pieces from D2BA’s Hop to It Paper, Sweetmobile Paper, Water Me Paper, and Scoops of Thanks Paper. I placed the small piece from each paper pack behind the area of the die from which I wanted it to cut. After die cutting, I used a small amount of glue to place my patterned paper and card stock into the balloon openings. It was so much fun!

The sentiment from the Balloon Tangle Stamp Set was stamped with Totally Black Ink and die cut with a banner from the Slim Mini Wavy Layers Die. The card looks very different depending on how the light hits it! Here are a few more photos of my completed card!
