Hopping by to say Happy Birthday!

Hi Artzy Friends! Hope you had a wonderful weekend! They always seem to go by so quickly for me.

I’m back today with another fun card featuring the new Honey Bunny Stamps from Dare 2B Artzy. These little bunnies are too cute with their little rosy cheeks.

To start, I stamped and colored the bunnies and a few of the carrots with my Croma Flagship alcohol markers.

Once colored, I cut them out and added a bit of sparkle with a Tonic Aqua Shimmer pen on the bunny’s cheeks.

Next, I used the Dare 2B Artzy Curves Slimline Border dies and created some hills from some green and Kraft colored cardstock. I cut the hills down so that they would match the width of the slimline panel using the same large stitched rectangle die from the Wavy Slimline Framelets Dies.

For my background, I used the sunburst stencil from Dare 2B Artzy and lightly ink blended some yellow and a touch of orange inks to create some beautiful sun rays. I faded out my ink blending towards the edge of the card as I didn’t want any harsh lines.

To create my sun, I cut a circle from the Dare 2B Artzy Double Dot Circle Dies.  To add a bit of flair to my sun, I cut some sun rays to go behind the circle using my Cricut Maker.

For a bit of sparkle, I cut the large and small clouds from the Curves Slimline Border die set using some white glitter cardstock.

I assembled all of my card layers with some liquid glue for the hillsides and glued the carrots throughout the hills.

Once I had my hills assembled, I had an afterthought and added some colored dots onto the Kraft cardstock hills. I did this using some various colors of brown Copic markers. I thought this would break up the plain cardstock a bit.

The bunnies were added to the card panel with some dimensional foam along with the clouds.

I chose to use the Hopping by to say Happy Birthday sentiment which I popped up with some dimensional foam just underneath my clouds.

For some finishing touches, I added some little pink clay hearts throughout the sky and there’s a little blue clay heart on the pot that the bunny in the foreground is holding.

It’s so much fun to create cute scene cards with the new Dare 2B Artzy Honey Bunny stamp set. I just love how this cute birthday card turned out.
