I’ve got a houseful of men. Four sons! Well, actually two are biologically mine and two are step-sons, but it’s still a whole lotta boy. Making masculine cards isn’t easy, but I think I did good on this card using the Hoot Hoot and Texture A stamp sets to make this:
Love those owls! They are a hoot! To make this card, I stamped one of the texture stamps onto Kraft card stock with VersaMark and wet embossed with Ranger gold embossing powder. I hadded some Fossilized Amber and Peeled Paint distress oxide inks and sprayed with a bit of water to blend. I also splashed a little Vintage Photo distress oxide ink onto the card. I colored the owl with Copic markers: G40, G43, Y26, Y28, E41, and E42. Here’s a close-up:
