Happy Birthday with Dare 2B Artzy Slimline Mini Heart Background Die

Hello and welcome Dare 2B Artzy friends! It’s Angie here today and I have a mini slimline birthday card for you today using the newly released “Slimline Mini Heart Background” die set. This die makes creating mini slimline cards super fast and easy!

This card would fit this month’s “Love” challenge for February too! Hope you have time to join in the fun!

I used navy, red and white card stock from my stash for my card. I die cut the main die with all the scrolls and center heart in the set from white card stock and added them to a navy blue card stock card panel. That navy blue panel was die cut with a different die set, the “Slimline Wavy Framelit Die Set.” I added it so that you can only see the little blue edges around the dotted panel on top of the white card base. It gave a nice scalloped blue edge under the dotted rectangle edge of the “Slimline Mini Heart Background Die.”

After the layers were glued down I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment in the center large heart in white and added smaller red hearts made with tiny heart dies from both the new “Cosmic Creatures” and the “Space Bots” die sets and a few tiny hearts from my stash.
