Happy birthday to all of the August babies out there!  It’s Melody from Handmade Card Happiness and Instagram sending out birthday wishes even if you weren’t born in August!

If you need to make some quick birthday cards, this Dare 2B Artzy Cupcake Background Die is for you!  I started out by doing some ink blending with Distress Oxides on white card stock.  I trimmed this panel using the stitched rectangle which is one of three dies included in the Cupcake Background Die Set.

Next, I stamped a sentiment from the Celebration Numbers stamp set using the Chocolate Chip Ink.  I cut the sentiment out with the cupcake paper die included in the background die set and added a little ink around the edges.  The background die was cut from brown card stock and adhered over the ink blended panel.  After adhering the cupcake sentiment with foam tape, a red gem was added, and this fun card was completed!

This die set could be used for all kinds of occasions!  Couldn’t you just picture using it for a retirement celebration, a party invitation, or including it with some baked goods for your coworkers?  You have to love a great die set with endless possibilities!
