Good Witch, Bad Witch? It’s All About the Shoes!

Hi there Artzy family! I’m here today sharing a cute card using the Good Witch Shoes stamp set as well as the Wavy Slimline Dies (although I’m not making a slimline card!)

To get started, I stamped, colored and cut the broom as well as several of the shoes with legs. I then created my own pattern paper by using a ruler and grid paper to measure stripes across a card panel. I colored each stripe in the color magenta. I then used the smallest wavy die from the slimline set and cut three pieces; one piece of plain white cardstock, one piece of the magenta stripes and one piece of the Artzy Doodles Sunset Yellow paper. These were then all fit together and glued to a white card panel.

I stamped the sentiment and the spider using the Dare 2B Artzy Totally Black hybrid ink. So that the cute little spider would have a web to climb, I added a piece of metallic thread and wrapped around the broomstick handle. I finished off the card by adding a few enamel dots.

Once all of the fun stuff was done, I took a thin piece of foam and adhered that to my card panel using liquid glue. This piece was then adhered to a black card panel which was then adhered to a 4 ¼ X 5 ½ white card base. The witches shoes were popped up with foam and adhered using liquid adhesive.
