Hello & happy Thanksgiving week crafty friends! It’s Tonya from Krafty Enchantments. I hope everyone is looking forward to a restful Thanksgiving weekend! Like so many others, our holiday will be spent with my mom, but our hearts will be with many others who can’t spend the holidays together. We have lots to be thankful for this year so we’ll be counting our many blessings.
Today, I have a cute Christmas Card featuring the Christmas Puppy stamp set from Dare 2B Artzy.
My mom has a Shitzhu named Bohdi who was the inspiration for my card today. I loved coloring the sweet puppy stamp set to look like Bohdi. He’s a sweet dog with a wonderful personality. His name means Enlightened.
To start my card, I stamped the reindeer antlers from the stamp set onto some 110lb cardstock. I stamped a second impression onto a piece of post it note and fussy cut it to create a mask. Once the mask was in place over the antlers I stamped onto my cardstock, I was able to stamp the adorable doggie image from the stamp set using my Dare 2B Artzy Totally Black ink. Through the magic of a mask the dog is wearing the antlers in the finished image. I colored the cute doggie with my Copic markers.
The stamp set has a coordinating die, but I didn’t use it since I had added the antlers on the dog. You could use the die to stamp and cut the images separately and then layer the antlers onto the dog image.
I cut out my finished colored image using a circle die that was 3 1/2 inches wide. I cut a second circle from some red foil cardstock that was just slightly bigger – about 1/16th of an inch.
Using the Dare 2B Artzy Wavy Slimline Border die, I cut some blue matte foil cardstock and some white glitter cardstock. To cut them down to a smaller size, I used the large rectangle from the Wavy Slimline Framelets to cut them down.
Next, I used the same large slimline stitched rectangle from the Wavy Slimline Framelets again and cut a piece of the Dare 2B Artzy plaid Grizzley Brrrz Paper.
The card base was created by folding a piece of 110lb cardstock in half long way and then trimmed the excess cardstock off to make a card base that measures 8 ½ x 3 ¾ inches. I cut a piece of white glitter cardstock and covered the front of my card panel.
I layered on the Dare 2B Artzy plaid Grizzly Brrrz paper, then added the two pieces of blue and glitter cardstock cut with the wavy edge die. I added some dimensional foam between the two layers of cardstock.
For my sentiment, I stamped the May your Holidays be Furry & Bright using some Versamark and heat embossed with some red embossing powder. I die cut the sentiment using the sentiment flag strip from the Wavy Slimline Framelets card dies.
I tucked the sentiment strip in behind my circles layered with my Christmas doggie image. I added several layers of dimensional foam on the back of the circles to make the image lay flat on my card panel.
I cut a few of the stitched hearts from Wavy Slimline Borders die set using some matte red foil cardstock and added them to my card panel.
To finish the card off, I added some red gems to my card front with some liquid glue.
I hope that today’s card inspires you to make your own Holiday card with the adorable Christmas Puppy stamp set.
Thanks so much for stopping by! I’ve added links to all the Dare 2B Artzy products used in todays card below.

Tonya
