Hello crafty friends! We’re within 10 weeks from Christmas! I know, right?! Of course, the upcoming holiday season inspires me. Today, I’m sharing this cute Christmas card. I use the Just Chillin’ stamp set, coupled with simple ink blending and heat emboss techniques. The cute polar bear and his penguin buddy are having Fun in the Snow.
The Just Chillin’ stamp set from Dare 2B Artzy (this set has a matching die) is perfect when designing fun Christmas cards. To start, I stamp, color and cut out the bear and penguins on the sleigh. Then, on a separate piece of cardstock, I ink blend night fall colors. Next, I use the Wavy Slimline dies when building the background scene, including die cutting the wavy red cardstock. I love how the red color pops!
I used the Curve Slimline Border Dies to create the hills of snow. Then, I heat emboss the snowflakes to give the illusion of a snowy nightfall. I assemble the card and voila! My cute little buddies are having Fun in the Snow.
To finish off my Christmas card, I apply Wink of Stella and Glossy Accents for shimmer and shine. What do you think? Consider leaving me a comment below. Happy Crafting!!!
