I made this mini album for my husband on our anniversary. I called it “love notes” because I filled it with pictures and memories throughout the years.
Part 1: The folder
Step 1: Open up the folder and fold up the bottom third to form a pocket. This should fold up just below the top tab of your 3-tab folder. Use bone folder along the fold.
Step 2: Flip folder over and score at 8-7/8″. Fold in half with pockets on the outside. Note how the edges should line up.
Step 3: Use bone folder to crease.
Step 4: Fold left side over and crease. Top of the panel should match up to the fold that you scored. (top of cover panel should be 4.25″)
Step 5: Fold the back side so the bottom side of the cover lines up with the bottom side of the back. See the image. Note how the tab extends past the cover.
Image 6: Note placement of adhesive. This will keep the album closed. In this project we put a binding on the album that covers the edge of the front and back cover. (optional: You can leave this open and decorate the two extra panels.)
Check back Monday for Part 2: Stamping and Distressing your album.
Blessings, Cindy
