Dare 2B Artzy 2018 Look Back

Hard to believe we’re closing out another year Artzy friends! Christmas is a week away and soon we’ll be ringing in the New Year!

Today I thought I’d take a look back at some of my favorite Dare 2B Artzy projects this year. I have to say it was really difficult to narrow this down to just 4 projects.  There were so many that I had fun with and enjoyed creating this year, but I managed to narrow it down to my top 4.

To start of the retrospective I’m going with a card that I challenged myself to step outside of my color comfort zone. I’m very much a lover of the cool shades in the color wheel so the blue, purple, pink spectrum.

For this card, I challenged myself to look at the other side of the color wheel and break out the greens and yellows. The result was this card featuring my favorite Dare 2B Artzy Big Bloom Stamp set and the Trellis Die.

I absolutely love how this card turned out.

The next card for favorites of 2018 features most of my favorite colors, but it uses a fun technique featuring alcohol inks and foiling.

I love how this unique card turned out with the clear acetate.

This card  used the flower from the Wishing Happiness stamp set, the Background Swirls stamp set as well as the Mini Leaves die set.

My next card features the adorable alpaca stamps. These were just two adorable. I have a couple of cards this year featuring these stamps. I’m a big fan of all of  Dare 2B Arty’s critter stamps.

This was another card in which I stepped outside of my comfort zone as it is a water color card. I was so proud of this card and how it came together and I learned that with a little patience I can create with water colors.

So fun don’t you think? I really love the Alpaca’s. This one is the Spit Happens stamp set but I think I need to add the Alpaca Cake stamp set to my collection soon.

And last, but certainly not least my fourth favorite card for 2018 is of course a wonderful Christmas card. We’re so close to Christmas I thought I needed to share this card featuring the Dare 2B Artzy Holiday Rose stamp set. This stamp set is just gorgeous! If you love to color flowers, I highly recommend this for all of the detail that you can add in while coloring.

I once again went for very non-traditional coloring with this card. My flowers are blue, teal and green with a hint of red for the holly berries. This  card used my favorite medium, Copic Markers.

The background again features the Background Swirls stamp set with a twist using a foil technique.

I hope you’ve enjoyed this small look back at my Dare 2B Artzy favorites for 2018. There were so many more that I loved but I had to narrow it down for this post.
