D2BA’s New Hide and Seek Card Die is Here!

If you are looking for a fun, interactive card to send to all the special people in your life, Dare 2B Artzy has a brand new die that you are going to love! It’s called the Hide & Seek Card Die!
When your recipient opens the card, there is a fun surprise waiting to pop out!

I love how the center pops up and the flaps spring out from each side!
I began my card by foiling some navy card stock with D2BA’s Night Sky Hot Foil Plate. I thought it would make such a fun and shiny background for my monstronauts! I die cut the foiled panels with the largest die in the Rectangle Framelits Die Set and adhered them to the card front as well as the inside parts of my card. Next I die cut the Hide & Seek Card Die from some navy card stock. The Hide & Seek Card Die has some layering elements that I die cut from one of my foiled panels.

The monstronauts and the sentiments are from the Monstronauts Stamp Set. They were colored with the following Copic Marker combinations: (YG11, G14, G16), (Y17, YR14, YR09), (BG11, BG23, BG57), (V15, V09, BV08), (E23, E25), Y06, and B28. The images were then die cut with the Monstronauts Die. The sentiments were die cut using the Mini Borders Die Set.

This is what the card looks like when it’s closed! It fits into an A2 sized envelope!
I kept the front pretty simple as the inside is just a little more elaborate! The Happy Birthday Layer Die was used to decorate the card front.
