Count You Rainbows!

Good morning D2BA Friends!

Tasha here sharing a Spring-themed card created with the sweet April Showers Stamp Set!

The girl image was stamped with Totally Black Ink and colored with Copic Markers, I love her yellow boots! I also used the coordinating April Showers Die Set to cut the image out. It’s so cool that this die set cuts around the tiny raindrops on the water puddle, I could never fussy cut those out!

For the greeting, I stamped “Count Your Rainbows Not Your Storms” from the Sunshine and Rainbows Stamp Set. The rounded sentiment fits perfectly around the top of the umbrella and I like the rounded look!

To create the background, I used the slimline cloud die from the Slimline Land and Clouds Border Die Set to make a stencil. I used a variety of shades of Distress Oxide Ink to add the rainbow colors to the sky to go with the sentiment. I love these soft pastel colors!

Lastly, I added little yellow glitter enamel dots and layers of glitter paper, D2BA pattern paper, and purple cardstock before attaching the card to a while 110lb card base.

The completed card measures 4-1/2″x6″
