Hello artzy friends… Helen is here. Today I wanna share with you all a Christmas CAS Shaker card. This is fun to make for this Holidays.
I used the 2 sizes of the Oval Scalloped Framelit Die to make the shaker box. I cut the frame out of heavy weight white cardstock and added the clear plastic on the back of it. After that, I added foam tape around the frame and then I added some of the start sequins. I cut out Deck The Halls Paper (also included in the Merry & Bright Variety Pack) with one of the scallop die and then I added it (the snowflake pattern side on the front) on the shaker box as the backing mat. I added the shaker box on the card with permanent adhesive glue and put couple acrylic blocks on it to hold it down while it was drying.
I cut out one of the ornaments form the Deck The Halls Paper for using Joy To The World Die and I added it on the shaker box with permanent adhesive glue.
I stamped and heat embossed the ribbon image from the Joy To The World Stamp Set, and then cut it out with the matching die. I added it on top of the ornament with permanent adhesive glue.
I cut out 3 pieces of the word Christmas using the Merry Christmas Die. I stacked the word die cuts together with permanent adhesive glue to make it as word chipboard. I added on the card with permanent adhesive glue and 3D foam tape.
I hope this give you an inspiration to create a merry and bright card for this season. And… don’t forget to check out our Monthly Challenge and the December theme is Clean and Simple. You have time to play along until the end of the month.
Thanks so much for stopping by our blog today. Have a fabulous day!
