Cheerful Smile With Happy Thoughts

Welcome crafty friends! I hope you’re doing well, and thanks in advance for visiting! I’m very happy you made it here for another Dare 2B Artzy design. For today’s project, I thought I’d shift my design to use pattern paper, central to the overall design. My Cheerful Smile With Happy Thoughts card idea includes Dare 2B Artzy’s Get Well Stamp Set with Artzy Doodles Paper as the focal point.

The Get Well Stamp Set has the perfect sentiments for healing with a lovely arrangement of well wishes. I start the card project by stamping one of the sentiments and use the Double Dot Circle Framelit to cut it out. Next, I trim down Artzy Doodles Paper (Midnight Blue and Sunset Yellow) to 4 x 5 1/4 inches. Then, I use the Curve Slimline Border Dies to cut the Midnight Blue paper and use as the top layer. The wavy curve definitely adds interest to the card, right?!

To assemble the card, I adhere the paper onto a piece of black card stock, leaving 1/8 inch border on all sides. Next, I adhere to the card base, using a landscape orientation. The card base measures 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 inches. Before I adhere the sentiment, I blend ink around the edges. To finish off my Cheerful Smile – Get Well Soon card, I apply Wink of Stella over the sentiment. What do you think? Consider leaving me a comment below. Happy Crafting!!!
