Bistro Cafe Center Step Card

Hello artzy friends! Helen is here… For me, coffee is my fuel to survive every day. I enjoy drinking coffee alone, but also I enjoy drinking coffee with friends. This last couple years, the situation we are all experience, limits me to get together with my friends. Today I want to share with you this Bistro Cafe Center Step Card that you can make and send it to your coffee loving friend as an invitation to get together.

I made this step card using the new Center Step Die. I cut a piece of heavyweight cardstock (110 lbs) to be the card base. And for the background mats, I used one of the pattern papers from the All The Buzz Collection Variety Pack. I added the mats on the center step card base with permanent adhesive runner. I also cut out a piece of heavyweight vellum paper with the scallop background die and I added it on the card with the Tombow Vellum adhesive runner.

I stamp the bistro cafe image from Bistro Stamp Set with Artzy Ink Pad Totally Black. After that I colored it with Altenew Artist Alcohol Markers. I cut the image with the matching Little Village Die set. This stamp set and die st are also included in the Little Village Bundle (All three stamp sets, one die set). I added the image on the card with 3D foam adhesive for extra dimension to the card.

I also stamped the coffee mug on a white cardstock, colored it with alcohol markers, and I cut it with the matching die from the same die set. After that, I stamped several coffee bean image on a brown cardstock with Pinecone VersaFine Clair ink pad and then I fussy cut them with scissors.

I cut a piece of yellow cardstock using the sentiment banner that comes in the Center Step Die. I stamped the sentiment with the Pinecone VersaFine Clair ink pad at the center of the banner, and then I added on the card with 3D foam tape.

I added the coffee mug and the coffee beans on the card with dries-clear adhesive glue as embellishments. This card is done. It can be folded flat enough to fit in a regular envelope and won’t cost you extra postage to send it out.
