Hi there, Dare 2B Atrzy friends!!

Did you get a chance to hop along with Dare 2B Artzy this weekend? I have to say there were some fun 3D projects there. If you’d like to revisit, just scroll down the blog just a smidge and there you will find links to all the goodness that was shared!

Today, I am sharing with you a fun card encouraging “Be Yourself“!

I began with watercolor paper, watercolor powder and good ol’ H2O. I misted the paper and then sprinkled on a blue, turquoise and then yellow watercolor powder. I watched as it bloomed before my eyes. Mesmerizing!

Once dry, I stamped the bird and sentiment from Be Yourself in Totally Black D2BA Premium Ink.

Next, I applied a touch of watercolor pencils to a few areas for deeper emphasis and even a touch of orange to the crown of his head. Lastly, I adhered the panel to an A2 folded card base topped with Fields of Joy D2BA paper and added a few shiny sequins. If birds can be attracted to them I can too, right?
