Tasha here sharing a festive new shaker card created with the adorable Dare 2B Artzy Baby Elephant stamp set. This little elephant is just too cute and this set is perfect for year-round cards!
To start, I stamped all the images with Totally Black ink and used the coordinating die set to cut them out; so easy! I colored all the cutouts with Copic markers and accented them with clear glitter and white gel pen. I also drew a black balloon string directly on to the yellow pattern paper to give the balloon a floating appearance.
The sentiment was also stamped with Totally Black ink directly on to the background yellow paper. To add a little more sparkle I glued a star to each side of the sentiment on top of the plastic shaker. I like that some items are inside and others are on top.
After stamping the sentiment, I filled the shaker with a variety of purple and clear sequins. The purple colors work with the purple shades used on the images and since the front of the card is clear plastic, the pile of sequins surrounds the elephant with sparkle.
Lastly, I cut a frame from D2BA blue pattern paper and added a little flower to the elephant’s ear. I attached the card to an A2 sized top-fold card base to complete the design.
Thank you for stopping by today and taking a peek at the new Baby Elephant stamp set. This set is also perfect for the D2BA April (Animal Theme) Challenge.
