Acetate Card with Dare 2B Artzy

Happy Friday, friends!
I had lots of fun creating this acetate birthday card with the stamps from Dare 2B Artzy’s BOHO Prints Stamp Set!

I began by stamping some of the images directly on my white card panel. Then I partially inked the same stamp with a darker ink and softened the edges with an ink blending brush before stamping over the image a second time. I love the color gradation this provided! I repeated this process with the blue leaves you see above and then die cut the leaves with the die from the BOHO Prints Die.

The floral spray from the BOHO Prints Stamp Set was stamped with D2BA’s Totally Black Ink and colored with the following Copic Marker combinations: (Y17, YR04, YR09), (YG03, YG17, YG09), and B26. The image was die cut using the BOHO Prints Die.
The planter was die cut using another die from this set. It was die cut from Midnight Garden Paper, and the edges were inked to add some definition.
The sentiment was stamped with Totally Black Ink using a stamp from the Simply Birthday Stamp Set.
The white panel was die cut with one of the dies from the Rectangle Framelits and mounted on a slightly larger piece of dark blue card stock. This completed panel was attached to my acetate card using a tape runner.

I die cut another white panel using the exact same die from the Rectangle Framelits and mounted it on dark blue card stock. I attached this panel to the inside of my acetate card directly behind the panel on the card front so it wouldn’t be seen but would provide me with a place to write a message to my recipient.
I attached a dark blue panel of card stock behind both panels so the adhesive from the front panel and the inside panel would be covered.
