A look back at Dare 2B Artzy Favorites

Hello, it’s Tonya from the Dare 2B Artzy Design Team. I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and created many cherished memories with family and friends! I had a great Christmas with my husband, my mom and my best friend, David. It was nice to be able to get together this year. I think I ate enough to make up for last year, lol! I see lots of treadmill time in my future.

I wanted to share a few of my favorite Dare 2B Artzy cards from this year. There were so many that I loved it was hard to narrow it down to 6 cards. Here’s what I came up with for my favorites for 2021.

I’m starting off with one of my favorite Dare 2B Artzy stamp sets the Strawberry Vine set. I used this set in February to create a love themed card. This stamp set is one of my favorites because it features the large strawberry vine which is perfect for creating both standard and mini slimline.  I took full advantage of this lovely large stamp and made a standard slimline card.

Next on my list of favorites from this year is the coffee themed card I created using the Coffee Bundle and the new Slim Mini Wavy die. If you know me, you know my love of coffee and I had so much fun creating this coffee themed card. Not to mention that the donut looks pretty tasty too.

My next favorite of 2021 features a newly found adult love of Shrinky Dinks. Yep, I discovered that you can stamp and color on shrink plastic and they make awesome shaker elements. I had so much fun stamping the Buzzy Bees and making them into some adorable tiny bee shaker card elements for this next card. They made the perfect shaker elements for my slimline card. I’ll definitely be trying this one again!

The Scandinavian Songbird stamp set is adorable and the minute I saw the fun flowers that come with the set I knew I had to make a floral frame for the next card on my 2021 favorites list.  The bright flowers and the adorable little songbird make a wonderful Birthday card.

In 2021 I even ventured into having a YouTube Channel. I was able to make a video for this sweet birthday card. You can see it here:

It seems that every year I manage to make a round card for Christmas. I created another one this year using the amazing retro ornaments from the Deck the Halls stamp set. I love the nostalgia that these stamps give and they were the perfect addition to my round Christmas card.

My final card in my look back at 2021 features the Scandinavian Songbirds again. I ended up creating a rather clean and simple card with a limited color pallet and I absolutely love how it turned out. It ended up being another one of favorite Christmas cards for this year.
