Ready to step outside the cardmaking box and try something a little different? Join Cindy for a fun, relaxed introduction to art journaling, designed especially for paper crafters who are curious about this creative style but aren’t quite sure where to begin.

In this hands-on class, Cindy will walk you through turning ordinary envelopes into your own handmade art journal, then share approachable ideas for filling your pages. We’ll play with collaging, layering, distressing, stamping and paper scraps, with an emphasis on experimenting, loosening up and enjoying the creative process. There’s no need for everything to be perfectly placed!

As a bonus, Cindy will also show you how to turn the scraps and off-cuts from your project into a quick off-cut journal, giving you another fun little journal to continue experimenting with at home.

This class is perfect for card makers who want to explore art journaling, collage and mixed media in an easy, non-intimidating way. No previous art journaling experience is needed!

What to Bring

Please bring a paper cutter and liquid glue or your favorite paper-crafting adhesive. We’ll provide the materials needed to create your journals.

Just bring your basic tools and come ready to play, experiment and get a little Artzy!
